The engineering services hub supporting Water Utilities in Southern Italy

Established in 2010, headquartered in the suburban area of Catanzaro, MEA Engineering Srl becomes part of Almaviva Group in 2024, through the acquisition of 58% of the Company shares bythe Group subsidiary, B.M. Tecnologie Industriali SpA Società Benefit.

The financial operation has enabled Almaviva Group, leading services integration and digitalization within the water utility sector in Italy, to strengthen its expertise and specialize its business.

This acquisition improves Almaviva Group ongoing process to complete value its proposition for the Integrated Water Services sector. The Group, in fact, currently operates by putting together different subsidiaries' expertise, starting from the Group holding, Almaviva, to B.M. Tecnologie Industriali and 2F Water Venture, as well as from Almawave, listed on the Egm Italian Stock Exchange and operating onAI & Big Data, to the sister companies Tecnau and Sister.

MEA Engineering is a company specialized in the surveys of both water and sewerage networks, underground utilities and the monitoring of the networks themselves.

Since 2014 MEA Engineering collaborates with B.M. Tecnologie Industriali for the management of engineering activities on the water networks of Campania, Sicily, and Calabria.
