It joined Almaviva Group in 2018, after a long-standing partnership with the Group which led SADEL producing over 20,000 pieces of equipment and distributing them throughout most of the national fleet. This equipment included telecommunication control panels, customer information displays, networking modules and multimedia servers, supporting transport operators and train builders alike.
Rooted in Bologna’s famous “mechatronic district”, SADEL consists of a consolidated team of around 50 industry professionals who share their software, mechanics and electronics expertise in order to develop, design, produce, test and maintain all on-board equipment in line with the most stringent technological, regulatory and qualitative standards governing the sector.
