Yesterday marked the end of the extraordinary three-day solidarity marathon for the environment, held on occasion of World Rivers Day and promoted by Piùblu with the support of Almaviva. Over 1250 volunteers in Turin, Genoa, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari, and Messina rolled up their sleeves and got to work cleaning up rivers, lakes, and the sea.
The end of this event dedicated to social responsibility was punctuated by the Almaviva BLU RACE, with Paralympic athlete Giacomo Perini as the guest of honor. The race brought together all of Rome’s rowing clubs at the Circolo Aniene, with 12 competing crews, for the first time made up three generations of both mean and women: 98 athletes who rowed together in support of the environment.
Thank you to all the participants!
