GIFTIV – Smart Management of Tourist Flows and Intermodality on a Holidays – is a project co-funded by iNEST – Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem (project code ECS00000043 – CUP H79J24002660008 PNRR – National Recovery and Resilience Plan – Spoke 6 Tourism, Culture and Creative Industries), coordinated by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
Thanks to our expertise in spatial and socioeconomic data analysis, we have developed an advanced model to assess tourism impacts and support policymakers' decisions through regional-scale Business Intelligence dashboards.
The constant growth of touristic flows in Veneto, particularly between the seaside areas and Venice, poses new challenges related to sustainability, mobility, and the livability of the Region.
GIFTIV was created to address these needs, integrating diverse data and AI technologies to improve tourism planning and intermodal management, with a positive impact for public bodies, operators, and citizens.
GIFTIV is a data-driven solution designed to monitor, analyze, and optimize tourist flows and intermodal mobility in highly tourist-intensive areas.
GIFTIV promotes more efficient tourism management, reducing environmental impact and improving the traveler experience.
