Migration and infrastructure management in AWS Cloud

PROJECT

The National Agency for Regional Health Services (AGENAS), a non-profit public institution providing technical and operational support to the Ministry of Health and to the Regions for the innovation and development strategies of the National Healthcare System’s governmental policies, has entrusted Almaviva with the migration and management of the infrastructure in the AWS Cloud.

Almaviva won the tender by resolution on May 2, 2021, “PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 36, PARAGRAPH 2, LETTER B) OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE 50/2016, AND SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF ‘CLOUD COMPUTING’ SERVICES FOR AGENAS FOR A DURATION OF 36 MONTHS”.

ACHIEVEMENT

The project, created from the need for a progressive decommissioning of physical infrastructure and the transformation of services according to the national Cloud enablement plan, allows for the adoption of innovative Cloud infrastructure and Managed services provided by Almaviva, an AWS MSP partner.

La soluzione, attivata nel Cloud AWS in data 20 Settembre 2021, recepisce le best practices architetturali dell'AWS Well Architected Framework, che offre precise indicazioni per la realizzazione di soluzioni nel Cloud, definendo come elementi sostanziali i pillar relativi alla Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization.

The solution, activated in the AWS Cloud on September 20th, 2021, incorporates the architectural best practices of AWS Well Architected Framework, providing specific guidance to create solutions in the Cloud, establishing the pillars of operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization as key elements.
