Migration and infrastructure management in the AWS Cloud

PROJECT

Almaviva, through the awarding of the tender for the management of Cluoud Computing Services, has implemented the project for the migration within AWS Cloud and the management of the infrastructure of the National Agency for Regional Health Services (AGENAS), a non-profit public institution providing technical and operational support to the Ministry of Health and to the Regions for the innovation and development strategies of the National Healthcare System’s governmental policies.

The project consists in the progressive decommissioning of physical infrastructure and the transformation of services according to the national Cloud enablement plan, through the adoption of innovative Cloud infrastructure and Managed services provided by Almaviva, an AWS MSP partner.

ACHIEVEMENT

The solution, activated in the AWS Cloud on September 20th, 2021, incorporates AWS Well Architected Framework architectural best practices, providing specific guidance to create solutions in the Cloud, establishing the pillars of operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization as key elements.
