"Collegati 2006": TSF presents its solutions, products and technologies
The event is scheduled for October 17th, from 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., at the TSF headquarters at Via Vito Giuseppe Galati 61, in Rome, the indoor parking area of which has been transformed for the occasion into a 1,000 square metre exhibition space with stands.
This year, the third edition of the event takes on a special meaning because it coincides with the tenth anniversary of TSF and the focus will be on providing an all-round picture of the Company and its know-how, style and identity. This too has determined the decision by the management to present the company by inviting its consolidated and potential customers to its “home”.
The location is evocative of Steve Jobs’ garage at Los Altos, where the first Personal Computer was created, and symbolises the “revolution” in transport informatics, a sector in which TSF has played a leading role in recent years.
However, the venue of Collegati 2006 is not just Via Galati, but Scalo Prenestino as well, which houses the DPC (Data Processing Centre). The two venues will be connected by a shuttle bus equipped with state-of-the-art smart ticketing and passenger information technologies. The passengers, therefore, will have a first-hand experience of TSF’s infotainment solutions, based on both stand-alone and online platforms (employing GPRS and WiFi networks).
The event targets the transport and manufacturing market operators, confirming the Company’s longstanding focus on these important sectors of the national economy and will display the solutions developed in partnership with the Ferrovie dello Stato Group companies, the Italian state-owned rail operator.
During the event there will be the presentation of the TSF systems for local public transport, freight logistics and transport, infotainment (and passenger information in general), traffic control, infrastructure safety and IT process outsourcing.
The principal exhibited technologies include state-of-the-art wireless telecommunications systems, contactless ticketing and charging platforms, satellite-based vehicle fleet monitoring and management technologies, freight shipment management, intermodal yard and freight tracking&tracing systems.
As in the previous editions, the event will also be a charity fund-raising event, the proceeds of which will go to two not-for-profit organisations: Associazione Cure Palliative of Livorno and CO.IN (Consorzio cooperative Integrate).
