Almaviva completes acquisition of TIVIT and accelerates technology leadership in Latin America

04-08-2025

Almaviva has officially completed the acquisition of TIVIT, one of the leading technology companies in Latin America. With regulatory approval, the process initiated in June with funds managed by Apax Partners LLP has concluded, ushering in a new phase of joint operations between the two companies.

The transaction significantly strengthens Almaviva’s presence in Latin America—a strategic region for the group—which now operates in 10 countries across the continent and 21 globally. With the acquisition, Almaviva becomes the second-largest technology services provider in Brazil, combining global scale, local expertise, and a robust digital solutions portfolio.

TIVIT will retain its brand, operational structure, and executive leadership, under the direction of Paulo Freitas, who will continue as CEO of the Company and report to Marco Tripi, CEO and shareholder of Almaviva Group.

“The acquisition of TIVIT is a strategic and natural step in our international growth journey. We are joining forces with a solid company, recognized for its technical excellence and strong regional presence, reinforcing our commitment to leading digital transformation in complex and high-demand markets,” says Marco Tripi.

Over the past few years, TIVIT has repositioned itself as a digital-first company, offering high-value solutions in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, software development, and automation. It now gains even greater strength through the support of Almaviva global ecosystem, which includes over 45,000 professionals, a presence in 21 Countries, and global revenues exceeding BRL 12 billion.

“We are ready for a new phase of growth. The arrival of Almaviva positions us even more competitively, expanding our delivery capacity while maintaining our long-standing commitment to excellence and client proximity,” says Paulo Freitas, CEO of TIVIT.
