A smart platform to streamline transportation: Il Sole 24 Ore features MOOVA, the modular, cloud-ready platform developed by Almaviva, designed to promote increasingly sustainable, integrated, and smart mobility.

Already in use in international contexts - from rail and bus networks in Northern Europe to metro systems in the Middle East and the United States - MOOVA stands out for its ability to operate within existing systems and integrate data from different operators. What’s a real-life example? In Campania’s integrated ticketing system, passengers use their payment cards directly while the system processes data from the various transit agencies, automatically applying the lowest fare.

MOOVA also enables smart infrastructure monitoring: using sensors, digital models, and advanced analytics, it is possible to track the condition of bridges and viaducts over time and plan targeted interventions. Artificial intelligence plays a key role by analyzing large volumes of data to identify patterns in traffic flow and support more effective decision-making.
