Data mining and machine learning, data analysis and display, complex network systems and science, computational sociology and social simulation, ethics, data journalism and storytelling: these are the subjects at the center of the workshop organized tomorrow morning by the University of Pisa, in the are of the Master of Big Data Analytics & Social Mining. The protagonists will be the main partners of the Master and a few students, who will talk about the results of the best projects conducted during the first semester.
For years, AlmavivA has been working alongside the Master, offered to graduates from all majors, which trains Data Scientists, those professional equipped with a blend of multi-disciplinary skills, who allow new data to be acquired and new knowledge to be drawn from it, managing the ethical and legal repercussions of the process, with the end goal of improving quality of life for people.
AlmavivA will be at the meeting tomorrow with Gianluca Pirraglia, Data Engineering and Analytics manager. His participation is part of a path that also anticipates the formulation and activation of innovative internship projects in the Data Management area.
