Short-Term Rental Inspections: the Ministry of Tourism Presents the New Dashboard of the National Hospitality Database, Developed by Almaviva

23-06-2025

Introducing a new digital tool that will enhance the ability of local administrations to monitor and oversee the short-term rental sector.

Developed by Almaviva and presented by Minister Santanchè during a press conference, the new interface is part of the ongoing process of digitalizing public administration. Its goal is to strengthen collaboration between the nation, its regions, and its local authorities in the management of short-term tourist rentals.

The dashboard represents a natural evolution of the BDSR, a platform launched in 2023 with the aim of conducting a standardized census of all the hospitality facilities operating in the country and issuing a mandatory National Identification Code (CIN) for each property intended to provide accommodations for tourists.
