Almaviva stands with the Provincial Health Authority (ASP) of Crotone, which yesterday inaugurated the first Territorial Operating Centre (CoT) in Calabria, an important structure in the organization and management of local health resources.
The implementation of the CoT responds to the need to create a healthcare model that bridges the gap between healthcare facilities and individuals who require preventive care and treatment. The center in Crotone is the first to be opened in Calabria, out of twenty-one being developed by the NRRP’s Regional Operational Plan. Its objective is to coordinate the services in the region, establishing a close collaboration between the emergency network, the hospital, and local and home services.
Almaviva has supported the administration in this evolutionary process by providing the IT platform for the management of transitional care by CoTs. Developed with the sector’s latest and most innovative digital technologies, the platform will allow the ASP of Crotone, as well as the other ASPs in Calabria, to coordinate patient care, which can be managed by services and by the health professionals involved in the various treatment pathways.
