“Awareness is a prerequisite for participating in the digital world. Entering it prepared means embracing a challenge made up of both responsibilities and opportunities.”

These were the words of Michele Svidercoschi, Almaviva’s Director of Communication, Marketing, & Public Affairs, speaking today at the Chamber of Deputies during the awards ceremony for projects promoted by Fondazione Articolo 49.

“More than 6 billion people live in the digital world. We’re citizens of this space and we must inhabit it safely and conscientiously, where rights and duties, freedom and responsibilities, risks and opportunities intertwine.

This is why Almaviva has chosen to support “Online Onlife,” the educational program that helps young people understand technology and the digital realm, promoting a form of citizenship capable of navigating the virtual world in an ethical, responsible, and informed way. A form of citizenship that combines skills, security, and awareness.”

The ceremony took place as part of the "Roots for the Future – The Value of Ideas" event, dedicated to recognizing those students who created the most innovative projects in the InClasse program contests, supported by Fondazione Articolo 49 in collaboration with Almaviva and other partner companies. The initiative saw the participation of 40,000 students and 16 primary and secondary school classes from across Italy, as well as Italian schools abroad.
