A digital ecosystem developed to improve the management and safety of the area and its residents

Important awards were presented yesterday as part of Key Energy at Rimini Fiera, the Italian trade show dedicated to energy efficiency, renewable energy, e-mobility, and sustainable cities. The city of Messina’s MEsM@RT project won first place in the category dedicated to the digitalization of public administrations for the “creation of a true digital ecosystem aimed at improving the management and safety of the area and its residents”.

Antonio Cerqua, AlmavivA’s Head of Data AI & GIS Practice, collected the award alongside Cateno De Luca, the mayor of Messina, and Placido Accolla, the Head of SI and Technological Innovation for the city of Messina.
Since its inception, MEsM@RT has counted on the strong synergy and harmony between all of the stakeholders involved: the city of Messina, AlmavivA’s Architecture & Emerging Technologies divisions (led by Alessandro Mantelli), and the PAL and Healthcare Business Unit (led by Vincenzo Pinto, the SPC Intellera Consulting project partner).
