Expo 2025 Osaka: over one million downloads of the app and two million visits to the website - both developed by Almaviva - which allowed the Italy Pavilion’s image to amplify its presence in the digital world and in the Virtual Expo’s metaverse.

As reported by Il Sole 24 Ore, Almaviva, the project's technological partner, provided the platforms that supported the pavilion's digital communication strategy, extending visitors’ in-person experience and allowing millions of users to explore interactive content, visit virtual 3D spaces and worlds, and participate in real-time online events.

Using the Giotto platform - a proprietary system that integrates artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and data analytics to manage multimedia content and immersive experiences - Almaviva created a fluid and inclusive environment capable of transforming technological innovation into an accessible and engaging narrative.

The Expo’s Commissioner General, Mario Vattani, called Almaviva a valuable partner in the creation of the logo, a symbol that conveys culture, hospitality, and direction.

The success of the Italy Pavilion reflects the strength of a collaboration that has brought together vision and expertise, tradition and future, and that, from as far away as Japan, has demonstrated, on a global scale, the “Italian system’s” ability to turn ingenuity into emotion and innovation into shared value.
