The celebration of the Guardia di Finanza’s 250th anniversary has set sail: the Fiamme Gialle athletic group took third place out of more than 1,700 boats participating in the 56th edition of the Barcolana in Trieste, the world’s largest sailing event. This race marks the last of five sporting events commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Corps’ foundation.

Almaviva is supporting this Guardia di Finanza event as well, with the Corps this year competing in the historic regatta with a 78-foot sailboat - a vessel that has already achieved various victories worldwide and is currently owned by an Italian shipyard, entrusted to an expert crew of the Fiamme Gialle.
