The 2025 SMAU Innovation Award has been presented to INPS for Proxima, the digital platform developed in collaboration with Almaviva to simplify and speed up the management of wage supplement applications.

Created within the framework of the NRRP, Proxima marks an important step forward in the modernization of public services by streamlining them and making the procedures for providing financial support to workers more efficient. The project strengthens the collaboration between Almaviva and INPS in the field of social safety nets, an area in which the company played a significant role during the pandemic as well, contributing effectively and promptly to the implementation of the necessary procedures.

Today, the platform helps businesses, consultants, and operators manage applications quickly, transparently, and intuitively.
Cloud-native and based on microservices, it ensures security, scalability, and sustainability.
Since 2023, Proxima has processed more than 450,000 applications, providing benefits to 1.5 million workers and freeing up time and resources for more strategic and complex activities.
