Villa Erba, on Lake Como, is preparing to become the heart of the European debate on technological sovereignty: in a month's time, Cernobbio will host the fourth edition of the Digital Innovation Forum, the main Italian and European event dedicated to policies for digital innovation, industrial competitiveness, and the development of future technologies.

Among the strategic themes that will shape the debate from October 14 to 16 is artificial intelligence. Valeria Sandei, Chief Global AI Officer of Almaviva Group and President & CEO of Almawave Labs, will speak on the first-day panel, “European AI and AI for Europe.”

The event brings together institutions, businesses, the financial sector, research organizations, and industry to address the major challenges of innovation. The Forum’s main political focus is technological sovereignty. It will be not only a discussion, but also an attempt to turn the debate on future technologies into an actionable document. The stated goal is to present, on October 16, a manifesto outlining ten concrete actions to transform European policies into measurable results in the industrial, economic, and social spheres.
