“Despite Italy’s significant achievements in the field of digital infrastructure and a presence of business with digital capabilities that’s just slightly above the European average, Italy still lags behind when it comes to the digitalization of public services and, above all, the dissemination of digital skills, confirming the same gaps as in previous years.“
These were the words of Antonio Amati, General Manager of Almaviva’s IT Division, at the conference presenting the results of a survey which involved one hundred of the most influential Italian CIOs of the public sector. The event was part of an initiative promoted by NetConsulting cube with the support of Almaviva, Contentsquare, Deda Next, Google Cloud, Jakala Civitas, Salesforce, SAS, ServiceNow, and TIM.
“Public administration,” continues Amati, “represents one of the key players in the digital market. Emphasis must be placed on relaunching investments to support the country's growth, a growth that Almaviva is dedicated to accompanying with a focus on ecosystems rather than individual entities.”
