TEDxMilano returns on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 8:30 pm – curated by Catherine de Brabant and Benedetta Marietti – at Milan's Teatro Dal Verme, one of the city's most iconic cultural venues. The 13th edition of the Milanese TED Talks is entitled “Humanity”, a broad and multifaceted theme that will be addressed by speakers from a variety of perspectives.
What began as a small event - among the first TEDx in Italy - with a very clear mission, “ideas change everything”, has become an annual fixture in the city. With this spirit, since 2012 some of the most innovative local and global thinkers have taken the stage, driven by the belief that sharing and spreading thoughts can generate new ideas and solutions that have the power to change people's lives.
What makes us human? In an era marked by profound social, technological, and environmental transformations, what meaning does the word “humanity” take on? Where is our evolutionary process leading us? Starting from the awareness that the essence of what it means to be human is constantly evolving, the speakers will explore the concept of humanity, emphasizing our interconnectedness and the idea that our individual well-being is inextricably linked to that of the collective. They will also invite attendees to rediscover the importance of others, as well as the capacity for solidarity, empathy, and a desire for a more just future.
