The Digital Innovation Observatories of the Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management serve as a reference point for digital innovation not only in Italy, but in the European Union as well.

Today, Blockchain technologies are no longer merely tools for improving existing processes; they now enable the creation of new and innovative organizational models. The Blockchain, together with other technologies, could be the cornerstone of the “next web revolution”, or rather Web3, a sort of decentralized evolution of today’s internet, which is currently dominated by Big Tech.

Almaviva is a partner of the Blockchain & Web3 Observatory. Thanks to the collaboration between the Department of Management Engineering (DIG) and the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering (DEIB), it analyzes these topics from both a business and technical perspective.

Almaviva integrates Blockchain & Web3 technologies into complex digital architectures to support businesses and public administrations in their transition toward decentralized models.

The group supports the transition by promoting transparency, trust, and privacy compliance, while ensuring technological soundness and delivering tangible business value.
