The final cleanup of the three-city initiative in which Almaviva partnered with Plastic Free concluded on Sunday, November 17th, in Milan. The competition focused on cleaning up the cities of Milan, Rome, and Naples (Castellammare di Stabia).

During this last cleanup, participants managed to remove 74.5 kg of plastic and waste from the environment, including 1 kg of cigarette butts alone.

The following are the final results of the three cleanups:

• Castellammare di Stabia: 1,100 kg of waste removed
• Rome: 590 kg of waste removed
• Milan: 74.5 kg of waste removed.

Almaviva also actively contributed to the successful rescue operation of a “Caretta-Caretta” sea turtle found in distress in August 2024. After being examined at the Sea Turtle Recovery Center, the turtle underwent surgery to remove a small hook lodged in its skin and was given the chance to heal before being released back into its natural habitat this past October.
