“Digital technologies are playing - and will increasingly play - a fundamental role in the transformation of the transport sector. Today, the challenge of sustainable mobility must be addressed with a systemic approach, one that effectively supports the technological transformation of infrastructures and services, with particular attention to road transport, a sector that currently offers more potential for development in terms of safety and automation.” These were the words of Alberto Tripi, president of Almaviva, speaking at the National Center for Sustainable Mobility (MOST) event: Innovation That Unites.
“It’s to meet these pressing needs that we’ve made a major investment in MOOVA, Almaviva’s integrated mobility platform, developed in Italy, capable of connecting different modes of transport in a single and advanced technological framework,” Tripi continued.
“MOST has successfully interpreted the need for collaboration between major private and public players, universities, and research centers. A collaboration that will continue to introduce further innovations, such as the use of artificial intelligence, which extend opportunities for technology transfer even internationally, a context in which Almaviva is strongly committed.”
