On December 6th and 7th, along Naples’ Via Duomo - the city’s “Museum Row” - the Campania Region, through the Directorate General for Cultural Policies and Tourism, will present the first edition of “Cultura Campania – Digital Ecosystem for Culture. Digital Horizons and Cultural Heritage”.
The event focuses on the regional platform designed to promote and celebrate cultural heritage through the use of digital technologies, a project developed in collaboration with the Almaviva Group as digital partner.
The two-day event, featuring studies, immersive experiences, and outreach activities aimed at residents, tourists, professionals, and institutions, intends to test, in particular, the use of one of the portals present in the Digital Ecosystem for Culture. It will begin, in fact, with Naples' historic center, traveling along the evocative Via Duomo, for which the Via dei Musei portal was created. This portal allows for a virtual and three-dimensional exploration of the buildings in the city's ancient center, offering a reconstruction of the area’s urban stratification, from the Greco-Roman era through to the present day.
Taking part in tomorrow's conference at the Madre Museum on behalf of Almaviva are: Giacomo Ricci, Commercial Director of Culture and Tourism at Almaviva, and Project Manager Andrea Tulisi.
