“Smart AgriFood: Signs of Recovery, Amidst Old Challenges and New Opportunities”: Almaviva attended the conference presenting the results of the study conducted by the Smart AgriFood Observatory – Digital Innovation Observatories of the Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management. The event provided an opportunity to discuss digitalization trends in the agrifood sector and the challenges facing the supply chain in terms of sustainability, competitiveness, and innovation.
During the event, APPAG – the Provincial Payment Agency of the Autonomous Province of Trento – shared its experience with Almaviva as part of the European AgriDataValue project, funded by Horizon Europe, aimed at developing a federated platform capable of integrating satellite data, IoT, and artificial intelligence.
From territorial data to predictive climate scenarios: digital innovation is enabling new strategies for sustainability and resilience in the agrifood sector, strengthening the dialogue between policy, local communities, and agricultural practices. Technology and agriculture are becoming increasingly integrated.
