Supporting research and its transformation into business: promoted by the PNICube Network, with Almaviva as Main Partner, Italy's largest and most comprehensive Business Plan Competition dedicated to startups took place today at the University of Ferrara, during the Ferrara EXPO.

“The Almaviva Group has a long history of innovation, ideas, expertise, and shared vision. These are the same values that, for many years, have driven us to support PNI’s initiatives and this award,” said Michele Svidercoschi, Director of Communications, Marketing, and Institutional Relations.

“Today, the PNI is no longer just a competition: it’s a cultural and organizational engine of Italian innovation, a place where ideas take shape and find room to grow. Italy is a country that knows how to conduct research, envision the future, and foster a true culture of innovation and technology transfer. Through the PNI, we’re working together to help create a more sustainable and inclusive future, strengthening the ability to share our vision and strategies in order to address today’s greatest challenges. The skill gap we want to bridge is that of transforming promises of value into solid results. Technology is an extraordinary accelerator: behind every piece of data lies a reality to be understood, and behind each solution lies an opportunity to improve the lives of everyone.”

“True change comes from the ability to drive innovation, contributing to the country's growth and development, and becoming digital leaders on the global stage. The PNI is an ecosystem that believes in deep tech and aims to make a qualitative leap at the international level. When we create space for research, support those who can transform it into businesses, and build networks, then Italy proves itself capable of surprising and leading the innovation challenge.”
