Almaviva supports the research of the Smart City Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management, established three years ago to investigate the opportunities related to the concept of a connected and “smart” city, combining technological, environmental, economic, and social perspectives with the practical enhancement of projects and applications benefitting public administrations and residents.

As a system integrator, Almaviva develops smart cities and lands by utilizing its adaptable and multi-tenant platforms and its expertise in domains and technologies such as big data, IoT and GIS. In line with the current requirements of safety and environmental and economic sustainability, Almaviva supports administrations in the processes of managing and governing the territory, improving residents’ quality of life and enhancing the services offered.
