How will thousands of disabled visitors arriving in the capital be received? What level of accessibility will they find? Is Rome really a welcoming city?

These are the questions at the heart of the conference that began this morning in the Laudato Si' Hall of the Campidoglio’s Palazzo Senatorio. Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Rome, the event is promoted by Disability Pride, a network that amplifies the voices of people with disabilities, their families, and their friends, promoting a new way of living, perceiving, and appreciating disability.

As the event’s organizers emphasize, the Jubilee is an opportunity that must be taken advantage of. And the Almaviva Group is by their side, committed to developing technological solutions that make daily life easier for people with disabilities and remove obstacles that prevent their inclusion or make it impossible for them to exercise their rights.

Conference participants are provided with real-time subtitling of the speeches, made possible by the voice technologies and expertise of Almawave, a company within the group that is dedicated to building a future in which artificial intelligence is synonymous with economic well-being and social cohesion.
