“In the cyber domain, we face an overwhelmingly asymmetrical challenge: hostile actors operate with relentless speed and flexibility, while our responses risk being slowed down by organizational and procedural complexy. It is therefore essential to strengthen the synergy between institutions, industry, and the technological community, accelerate threat prevention and response processes, and promote greater cooperation between the public and private sectors. Only through a proactive, multi-domain approach will it be possible to achieve greater resilience within the digital ecosystem, making it more secure and better able to face emerging challenges.”

These were the words of Almaviva Group Chief Security Officer Antonio Pisano, speaking this morning during the plenary session of the 5th edition of CyberSEC, the international conference organized by the newspaper Cybersecurity Italia, in collaboration with the State Police.

The two-day event, which concludes today at the Police Academy in Rome, was attended by Ministers Matteo Piantedosi and Adolfo Urso, Chief of Police Vittorio Pisani, and DIS General Manager Vittorio Rizzi, as well as Henna Virkkunen - Executive Vice President of the European Commission; Bruno Frattasi - General Manager of the National Cybersecurity Agency; Ivano Gabrielli - Director of the Postal Police and Cyber Security Service; Mario Nobile - General Manager of the Agency for Digital Italy; Nunzia Ciardi - Deputy Director General of ACN; and many others.

A long-standing partner of the Conference, Almaviva confirms its European position and its commitment to strategic issues related to technological challenges and digital sovereignty. Through an organization that ensures unified, strengthened, and coordinated oversight at the international level, Almaviva aims to further enhance its industrial, digital, and physical security profiles and its commitment to business continuity in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario.
