Artificial intelligence doesn’t seem destined to replace human beings, but rather to “augment” their capabilities exponentially. A new alliance between humanity and algorithms will be possible if scientific research, political will, and industrial strategy start focusing on the development of human-centered, comprehensible, and reliable artificial intelligence that helps reach increasingly ambitious objectives aimed at the common good.

This will be the topic of discussion at the meeting organized by ANSA’s Artificial Intelligence Observatory in Rome on November 9th, which will be streamed on www.ansa.it.

Alessandro Mantelli, Chief Technology Officer for Almaviva, will speak on the panel "Enterprises Augmented by AI", explaining what it means to build and make enabling hardware and software infrastructures available to companies and detailing notable instances in which the practical application of AI has proven capable of transforming processes and products.
