“Knowledge, expertise, commitment, and curiosity about the future are the key to 'kind' innovation. This is the common thread running through the stories of the women innovators with whom I had the pleasure of sharing a stimulating day filled with inspiring success stories for more sustainable and inclusive mobility. Almaviva has long championed initiatives aimed at women's empowerment and gender equity and now stands alongside MOST in carrying out concrete actions to reduce gender disparities and promote diversity.”

These were the words of Agata Quattrone, Innovation Manager - Transportation & Logistics at Almaviva, speaking during the round table “Women's Contribution to Sustainable Mobility”, held as part of the event “Women Innovators in Sustainable Rail Mobility”, which took place at the University of Florence on December 9th.

Promoted by the Fondazione MOST, the initiative celebrated the contribution of women within the rail and sustainable mobility sectors, bringing together female researchers, engineers, managers, and professionals who, participating in MOST projects, have contributed fresh ideas, advanced expertise, and tangible results. The event highlighted how diversity of perspectives is a driving force for innovation, sharing experiences, challenges, and achievements along the path to an increasingly modern, sustainable, and inclusive rail mobility system.
