The impact of new technologies under a regulatory profile

Today in Rome, simultaneously with multiple countries around the world, the convention was held where academics compared notes with professionals in ICT and the legal sector on the regulations in the fields of digital identity, IA and Cybersecurity and particularly on the applications and limitations of biometric recognition and autonomous machines.

The event, organized by the Pavia and Ansaldo legal offices and The Thinking Watermill Society with the sponsorship of NITEL, was held at the My Governance site.

Roger Cataldi, AlmavivA Cybersecurity Practice manager, illustrated digital attack methods, providing a practical overview on the mistakes not to make in order to keep your devices protected. Giorgio Dramis, of Cybersecurity Practice, spoke on the criminal and civil aspects of digital access violation and on the regulatory areas connected to the responsibility of the vulnerability verifier.

The possible applications of Artificial Intelligence in the legal sector - such as, for example, the transcription of contracts, the verbal order, discovery in a procedural system, virtual assistance and the automatic classification of reports - were discussed in the talk by Raniero Romagnoli, Almawave Chief Technology Officer.
