Almaviva and Eviden, an Atos Group brand, have announced a strategic partnership to promote the nationwide implementation of cooperative intelligent transportation systems (C-ITS) and ensure seamless cross-border interoperability.

The agreement supports C-Roads Italy, a national program dedicated to the deployment of C-ITS technologies under real traffic conditions. The project aims to increase road safety by enabling vehicles to exchange data with infrastructure and other users, thus helping to reduce road accidents and congestion, promoting cleaner and more efficient transportation, and paving the way for future automated mobility systems in Europe.

Almaviva will deploy Eviden's Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems Public Key Infrastructure (C-ITS PKI) across Italy to strengthen its transportation and mobility operations, alongside MOOVA, its integrated, modular, and seamless mobility platform designed to connect multiple modes of transportation within a unified digital ecosystem.
