With 120 countries represented and 40 international organizations in attendance, the 4th edition of the Coast Guard Global Summit - held at the Roma Convention Center “La Nuvola” - concluded today. The summit is the world’s leading platform for dialogue and cooperation among coast guards worldwide.

As a partner in the digital transformation of the defense and security sector, Almaviva Group showcased its solutions at the event, which was attended by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who mentioned that this week Rome has become the global capital of maritime strategies and partnerships, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini, who thanked the men and women of the Coast Guard for their daily commitment to safety at sea and ocean protection, underscoring Italy's central role in the international maritime landscape.
Also in attendance was Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry Francesco Lollobrigida, who emphasized the Coast Guard's ongoing commitment to safeguarding the marine environment and its resources - a shared heritage of inestimable value.

The proceedings concluded with remarks by the Commandant General of the Italian Coast Guard, Admiral Inspector CP Nicola Carlone, and Commander Samar Singh Sandhu, representing the Indian Coast Guard.
India will, in fact, be the host country for the 5th edition of the Global Forum.
