Almaviva plants 800 trees in Vettabbia and Forlanini Parks

Almaviva Group is supporting an urban reforestation initiative promoted by its partner zeroCO2 to strengthen the environmental and social resilience of one of the cities most exposed to air pollution. The plan calls for 1,000 new native trees - 800 of which have already been planted by Almaviva in the Forlanini neighborhood and Vettabbia Park - helping to make Milan healthier and more livable.

Each year, the city faces significant challenges related to air quality and urban pollution: the PM10 threshold has been repeatedly exceeded, with spikes highlighting how pollution remains an urgent problem.

Almaviva supports practical initiatives like Radici di Quartiere (Neighborhood Roots), which help counter these effects by improving air quality and creating green spaces that make a true difference. Through this project, we are directly contributing to the absorption of CO2 and particulate matter, promoting agronomic practices with high social value, and generating lasting benefits for the community and surrounding area. We believe that corporate responsibility must also translate into tangible action. Radici di Quartiere is an opportunity to plant a seed of change together with residents, local authorities, and other businesses, thus building a greener Milan.
