The rationalization of consumption and greater awareness about the efficient use of energy resources are key issues for our planet’s future.
Striking a balance between economic development and environmental protection can no longer be put off and demands that all of us, from governments to individuals, adopt responsible behaviors, aimed at reducing consumption, improving energy efficiency, and minimizing waste, through the implementation of eco-friendly policies and practices.
Almaviva has made this a strategic priority for the group: transforming itself into a Green company.
In line with the group’s code of ethics and corporate policy, Almaviva is increasingly committed to environmental issues and the challenges posed by climate change. To this end, it constantly monitors emissions and energy consumption, promoting the use of energy from renewable sources and seeking to reduce waste and negative environmental impact, all within the framework of circular economy.
To prevent and reduce the environmental impact and energy consumption generated by its corporate activities, Almaviva has developed and implemented an Environmental and Energy Management System, in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 50001 standards, which plans and streamlines eco-friendly behaviors and the efficient use of information technology at the group-wide level, with employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders actively involved in the improvements.
