Dear Stakeholders,

We are pleased to present the Almaviva Group's 2024 Sustainability Report: a document that, with transparency and vision, conveys our commitment to responsible, sustainable growth aimed at creating shared value. A commitment that translates into tangible environmental, social, and economic results.

2024 was a year marked by profound transformations: systemic challenges, rapid changes in the market, and new peaks of innovation. We faced these with determination and flexibility, leveraging an agile business model and a long-term strategy.

With an identity deeply rooted in innovation, internationalization, and social responsibility, the group has strengthened its position as a global player, actively contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Thanks to the trust of our clients, the talent of our employees, and a strong collaboration with all of you, we have achieved significant milestones. Our economic performance in 2024 confirmed positive trends, with substantial growth in consolidated revenues.

Our results were driven by significant growth in the mobility, healthcare, public administration, defense, cybersecurity, and tourism sectors, as well as expansion into strategic areas such as digital health, smart cities, and environmental sustainability.

The strengthening of our international presence was supported by the acquisitions of Almaviva Solutions (formerly Magna Sistemas) in Brazil and Iteris in the United States, thus expanding our technological offering and the group’s global reach.

2024 also marked a strategic shift towards proprietary technologies, with the release of Velvet, the first Italian multilingual open-source LLM. This project reinforced Almawave’s role as a national leader in artificial intelligence and a reference point at the European level.

Our commitment was also recognized by Ecovadis, which awarded us the Gold Medal for our ESG performance, placing us in the top 5% of companies assessed globally over the past year.

Our sustainable vision translated into tangible actions.

In terms of the environment:

  • 83% of our energy came from renewable sources
  • we initiated Scope 3 emissions monitoring
  • we introduced circular economy initiatives.

Socially, we have obtained:

  • ISO 30415 certification for Diversity and Inclusion

and were recognized by the Financial Times and Statista as one of Europe’s 2024 Diversity Leaders.

Regarding ethics and governance, we implemented:

  • an anti-corruption management system compliant with ISO 37001, strengthening a regulatory framework that now includes 18 group policies implemented to protect our values and objectives, from environmental protection to information security and from human rights to supplier conduct.

With regard to a responsible digital transition, we invested:

  • over €44 million in research and development, collaborating with universities and scientific centers, and contributing to the definition of the European standard UNI/PdR 147:2023 on digital sustainability.

This report not only reflects our present, but also clearly charts the course for our future. We have strengthened our sustainability plan by structuring our ESG objectives around four strategic pillars: Governance, People, Environment, and Responsible Digital Transition, with annual and medium-long term targets.

The results we achieved are, first of all, merit of our employees, a human asset that we have promoted through inclusive policies, targeted training programs, sustainable smart working models, and ongoing initiatives that encourage individual well-being.

We are fully aware that none of this would have been possible without the trust and support of each and every one of you.
