Reactive, an Almaviva Group company active in the digital transformation of the Finance & Insurance sector, has announced the appointment of Mario Mendia as CEO.
Mendia, simultaneously appointed CEO of the subsidiary Kline, is taking over from Piero Rossini, who is assuming the role of President and will be assisting the CEO in business development policies and the definition of business strategies.
Antonio Amati, General Manager of Almaviva’s IT Division, will take on the role of Director, with responsibility for coordinating the activities of Reactive and Kline within the group.
With 30 years of professional experience, Mario Mendia has a deep understanding of the financial services technology sector, having devoted two decades of his career to it. Previously at TAS, serving as Senior Vice President of International Markets and CEO of subsidiaries in Spain, Serbia and France, he focused on capital markets, treasury, and development in international markets. Prior to that, he worked at Eurofly, as Director of Network and Business Development, and at PwC Management Consulting. Married with three children, he is an adjunct professor on Fintech topics in the Rome Business School’s master’s program.
“With this new leadership, we aim to give a further boost to the growth trajectory of Reactive and its subsidiary Kline, leveraging the expertise and vision of the selected executives. I wish Mendia the utmost success in his new role, and Rossini all the best in his role as President as he continues the important work he has done so far,” commented Marco Tripi, CEO of the Almaviva Group.
“I’m proud to join this company, leading the way in the digital transformation of the financial and insurance services sector. Together we’ll work to be increasingly proactive, innovative, and attentive to the needs of our clients,” said Mario Mendia, CEO of Reactive.
