Almaviva and BTS have signed a collaboration agreement amining at bringing solutions and services related to telerehabilitation systems to both the public and private healthcare markets in Italy, as well as to international markets — particularly in the United States, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
“Almaviva takes care of people by digitalizing the processes at the foundation of wellbeing - from prevention and patient engagement to care delivery and ecosystem governance - making data, tools, and professionals increasingly accessible and interconnected,” explains Andrea Leonardo, Director of Healthcare at Almaviva.
HELIOS suite represents the core of Almaviva’s operations in the Healthcare and Wellbeing domains: it facilitates healthcare data integration, supports community-based medicine, enables chronic care management, promotes healthcare cooperation, and applies artificial intelligence to support clinical decision-making.
In particular, Helios.Rehab platform, designed as cloud-native and mobile-first, integrates frontier technologies based on AR & VR, AI & Data Analytics for clinical data management and for supporting diagnosis and care-pathway assessment. It is an open and interoperable platform, seamlessly connectable with regional and institutional systems, and easily scalable by reusing existing services and devices.
BTS collaborates with leading research centers, universities, and hospitals worldwide, aiming to bring its technological expertise and biomechanical know-how on human movement to people’s daily lives - including at home.
The home rehabilitation kit, connected to the healthcare system, allows patients to remotely perform motor and cognitive therapy. Advanced digital technologies - including biosensors, AI-driven vision systems, and immersive virtual reality tools - ensure real-time eye-tracking and assessment of neurological disorders. AI & Data Analytics simultaneously generate clinical reports and outcome evaluations.
