Almaviva announces the appointment of Antonio Pisano as Group Chief Security Officer (CSO), responsible for the Security Area. The new organization will ensure a unified, strengthened, and internationally coordinated approach to security.
The decision is part of the group's international growth strategy, its European positioning, and its commitment to strategic issues related to technological challenges and digital sovereignty. In this context, Almaviva aims to further qualify its industrial, digital, and physical security protection profiles, as well as its business continuity, in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario.

"The new Security Area has been created with the ambition of acting as an enabler of digital transformation and technological sovereignty, protecting people, assets, and information resources in order to effectively contribute to the creation of long-term sustainable value."
The Security Area, to which the CSOs of the group’s companies worldwide will functionally report, will aim to ensure a single point of oversight for security models and solutions, identify strategic priorities, and consolidate the adoption of the best international standards and frameworks in the field.
Antonio Pisano has over 30 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity and digital technologies, acquired in leading institutional and industrial settings. He has held senior management positions, developing strong expertise in technological innovation and in the management of complex and critical IT environments. Over the course of his career he has worked in the State Police, the Guardia di Finanza, and the Prime Minister's Office, before moving into the industrial sector where, at Leonardo, he led a large team of specialists dedicated to the development of innovative solutions and technologies for the optimization of business processes.
Pisano has also taught and conducted seminars in the specialist Master's program in "Intelligence for National and International Security" at the LUM Business School, the Master's and Higher Education programs in "Intelligence and Emerging Technologies" at the University of Udine, and the Master's program in "Information Security and Strategic Information" in the Department of Computer Engineering of Rome’s La Sapienza University.
