Almaviva Egypt Visa Centers of Almaviva Egypt in Cairo and Alexandria today are facilities including spaces dedicated to promoting the Italian System, where Made in Italy expertise integrates with that of highly qualified Egyptian professionals, trained at the Country's best universities.

Founded in July 2021, Almaviva Egypt began operating in Egypt as a concessionaire of the Italian Embassy in Cairo for the advanced management of the processing service for entry visas to Italy.

The Company can rely on the synergies within Almaviva Group, a global network leading digital transformation, which drives the evolution of end-to-end processes and systems in strategic market sectors: public administration, transport, healthcare, finance, defense and security, environment, and water resources management.

From this perspective, Almaviva Egypt contributes to the debate on the digital future of Egypt, which takes place during the Country's strategic events focused on innovation and sustainable development. To support Egypt digital transformation journey and strengthen its role as a regional technology hub, in 2025 Almaviva Egypt enhanced its Software Development Center through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with ITIDA, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The memorandum represents a key milestone in Almaviva Group's expansion strategy and confirms its commitment to supporting the Egyptian innovation ecosystem through long-term ICT development.

The agreement includes a support program that provides, among other things, Almaviva Egypt with assistance in hiring through ITI - Information Technology Institute, guidance in customs and import procedures, facilitation in interactions with government agencies, and support in establishing and expanding operations in the Country.
