For this reason, we are committed to promoting an ethical and responsible supply chain, acknowledging the severe concern at a global level regarding the extraction and commerce of "conflict minerals" originating from CAHRAs (Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas).
Conflict minerals are defined as minerals or metals containing tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG) originating from areas affected by armed conflict, post-conflict conflict or areas characterised by poor or non-existent governance or security or widespread or systematic violations of international law, including human rights violations.
We are committed to not purchasing components containing minerals originating from conflict areas o plants located in the conflict Region and not certified as conflict-free areas. We are committed to ending the use of minerals originating from high-risk areas or affected by conflicts, as defined by applicable international guidelines, to the extent it is believed the directly or indirectly provide benefits to groups committing violations of human rights in relevant geographic areas at a global level.
We are aware of the challenges of CAHRAs supply and collaborate with our suppliers and involved parties in order to promote sustainable solutions contributing to the economic and social development of regions of interest, without fueling conflicts or violations of human rights.
