AlmavivA participates with SEM-Smart Energy Management in the Conference on “Monitoring the energy efficiency of buildings”
A study day will be held today in Turin, at the Centro Congressi Torino Incontra, sponsored by a number of institutions and sponsoring businesses, focusing on the experiences and information related to monitoring the systems and analyzing the data relating to the energy efficiency characterization of third-sector buildings. This Conference is held as part of the European iSERV CMB - IEE (Intelligence Energy Europe 2010) program, the aim of which is to monitor and collect information on the energy efficiency of 1600 buildings in the third sector over a 3-year period.
Departments of the Turin Polytechnical University (DENER and DELET) and several other entities will be providing their contribution to define the advantages and benefits that energy efficiency monitoring entails, while the ICT businesses will offer their contribution to the development of cutting-edge technology.
Stefano Capelli, who is in charge of AlmavivA’s New Business Project, will be taking part in the Conference to illustrate AlmavivA’s Green Project, with a detailed focus on the SEM - Smart Energy Management platform developed by AlmavivA.
The SEM platform, the implementation of which is already a consolidated fact at the key Group offices, is offered on the market, especially for the Government, transport, banking, utilities and mobile telephony sectors.
SEM enables the collection of data, the analysis, monitoring and recording of energy-related events, ranging from single buildings to entire property parks, through a safe and profiled access to the portal via the Internet.
SEM incorporates in a single tool the possibility of navigating through consumer information in real time, an effective Back Office system and a Business Intelligence solution applied to the entire Data Base of the (historical and real-time) measurements. This represents the true innovation, compared to the other energy management solutions, because it enables us to analyze the trend in time of the monitored values, through the building of correlation indexes, the application of benchmarking tools, the automation of the analysis of deviations, the sending of messages, via mail/texts, in the case of anomalous values.
Last June, SEM obtained a significant recognition, the “Italy of Innovators” Award, which is project launched by the Agency for spreading innovation technologies, created by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which selected SEM from among the projects that can be defined as “Innovation selected by Italy of Innovators”. AlmavivA recently participated in the Italy of Innovators mission to China, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations within a strategic Italy-China partnership framework.
