AIF Associazione Italiana Formatori - the national association of training staff – has awarded the First Prize for the Training Systems section, at the 9th Edition of the Basile Award for Training in Government, to the employee training system introduced by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Ministry received the following awards:
  • Absolute 1st Prize in the Training Systems section, for the project “A training system for empowering staff”
  • excellence award in the Processes section, for the “Motivational training project”
  • excellence award in the Projects section, for the “Enterprise Theatre” project
  • Special Faro della Formazione all’Amministrazione prize, with the following motivation: “the Ministry of Agriculture, in presenting its candidates for the three sections, has been awarded absolute first prize in the Systems section and has received excellence awards – ranking in the top positions – in the Processes (with a grade slightly below 8/10) and Projects sections.”
“Our thanks go out to all the course teachers, whose passion and professional skills are well known to all of us, to the developers and managers of the Intranet, to the CFS Forest Police, to the entities responsible for developing parts of the training system, to the University of Gastronomic Sciences, to the CNR IDAIC, to “La Sapienza” University of Rome, to “LUMSA” University and to AlmavivA for the online and IT courses.”

(from the Press release by the Ministry of Agriculture).

This is a prestigious award because the Ministry’s Training Project, which has received the wholehearted support of the top echelons of the Ministry, was up against hundreds of other projects presented by other central government departments, as well as many regional and local authorities. But the award is significant “for AlmavivA too, and its staff, who have always tackled these issues”, said Ambrogio Zirattu, Land Management and Environment Area Manager. The prize giving ceremony will take place on Friday, 29 October, at the close of the 7th AIF Conference on Government in Perugia.
