AlmavivA do Brasil pursues its growth strategy. A new call center inaugurated in Juiz de Fora.

Following an investment of nearly 6 million euros, AlmavivA do Brasil has opened a new call center in the city of Juiz de Fora, in the Region of Minas Gerais, which will bring an expected nearly 3,000 jobs.

The inauguration, held on 26 August, was attended by the Governor of Minas Gerais, Antônio Anastásia, and the Mayor of Juiz de Fora, Custódio Antônio de Mattos, besides the principal customers in the Region.

Giulio Salomone, CEO of Almaviva do Brasil, declared that the opening of the new call center would further strengthen AlmavivA's presence in Brazil. In particular, “the city of Juiz de Fora, the fourth largest town in the Region of Minas Gerais, had revealed a strategic potential for the development of our operations.” The new call center is a very hi-tech communications facility, with a capacity of 100 megabit, capable of ensuring a continuous high-speed flow of data, voice and video traffic.
 
Moreover, the creation of new jobs will also greatly boost the local economy: “Our staff will receive appropriate training in consumer assistance, according to the highest quality standards required by our company. We aim at excellence”.

AlmavivA do Brasil is focusing on the new technologies for the CRM market: “Last year we launched Almawave do Brasil, an AlmavivA Group company, which provides solutions based on artificial intelligence and web semantics”, said Giulio Salomone, who also holds the position of President of the newco based in Belo Horizonte.

In 2012, AlmavivA do Brasil will be opening the AlmavivA Corporate University, which will enable staff members to enhance the quality of their output, thanks to university-level training sponsored by the company.

Founded in 2006, and based in Belo Horizonte, AlmavivA do Brasil now has three facilities and a training center in São Paulo. From the start of operations, and including Juiz de Fora, investments to date total R$ 70 million in Brazil alone. With an 11 thousand strong staff and no less than 5.2 thousand very hi-tech workstations, AlmavivA do Brasil is one of the leading call center operators in the country. In 2010 it achieved a turnover of R$ 200 million, and the expected turnover for 2011 is R$ 250 million.

This year AlmavivA do Brasil was awarded the "12th Modern Consumer Prize for excellence in customer services" for the "Best Contact Center Company of the Year" category.
