With the business case “Smart Water Management | Digital Transformation for the Protection and Enhancement of Water Resources Throughout the Integrated Cycle”, Almaviva contributed to the position paper entitled “The Digital Transition in Support of Business Sustainability: Risks and Opportunities”, promoted by UN Global Compact Network Italy and previewed at the CSR and Social Innovation Exhibition.

Participating in this collective effort alongside 46 other Italian organizations provided an opportunity to share experiences and reaffirm the fundamental role of digital technologies as enablers of sustainability, when guided responsibly and ethically. We believe that digital technology is not an end in itself, but a means to generate shared value, improve processes, reduce environmental impacts, and foster an inclusive and innovative culture. We thank UN Global Compact Network Italy and all the companies involved for making this shared journey possible.
