How do we ensure a sustainable future for the country's digital transformation? This is the question at the heart of the conference presenting the findings of the study conducted by the Digital Agenda Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management, in collaboration with Almaviva.
According to Fulvio Conti, Customer Project Manager of Almaviva's IT Division, who will be participating in the conference tomorrow, this transformation "requires a cultural vision in which digital tools are viewed as enablers for delivering public administration services, without these necessarily being owned by PA. By adopting the Government as a Platform (GaaP) model, public administration can implement a collaborative approach with private partners and providers, reducing its operational scope to essential services. In this way, private entities can be interconnected and offer public services to residents - paid, for example, via a pay-per-use model - while also contributing to technological innovation."
During the conference, which will also be streamed online, the “Digital Agenda Awards" will be presented to PAs, SMEs, and startups that have excelled in digitization projects within the public sector.
