On Corriere Innovazione, the AlmavivA platform that makes predictions on chronic diseases

AlmavivA and the ASST Vimercate local healthcare facility are experimenting the use of artificial intelligence to follow the life of patients, in an attempt to predict – with algorithms – the evolution of chronic diseases and the risk of infections.

Algorithms as a cure. The future of medicine is charted: making the diagnosis and cure more personalised, and thus more effective, thanks to the use of that immense mine of data stored in hospital archives. The entry of artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning into health clinics promises to boost the advancement of precision medicine and, generally speaking, improve healthcare performances.
