On Saturday, April 15th, with the first edition of Disability Pride Turin, the Disability Pride Network's journey across Italy begins.

Here are its main stops: after Turin (event scheduled for tomorrow at 2pm in Piazza Carlo Felice), Genoa - May 13, Rome -May 27 for Sport Without Barriers, Rimini - June 2 and 3 for OTive Rehab Hub, Milan - June 10 and 11, Taranto - June 25, Val di Susa -July 29 to 31 for the Alta Felicità Festival, San Vincenzo (LI) -September 15 to 17 for Sotto Gamba Game, Rome - September 23, Bologna - September 7 and 8, and Palermo - October 22.

Created in 2015 as a traveling festival aimed at raising awareness on issues related to the varied world of disabilities, in just a few years Disability Pride has expanded from the province of Ragusa all the way to Rome, where, thanks to the collaboration with different organizations involved in the world of disability, an informal network has been created which, through the exchange and sharing of experiences, has found the lifeblood and strength to react to a world that still has a long way to go in terms of inclusion.

Disability Pride Italia is an open and constantly expanding international network made up of different organizations that share the same values and goals, promoting and affirming a new way of perceiving and valuing people with disabilities. Almaviva, Almawave, and PerVoice are digital partners of the network, with the Almaviva Group’s technologies and commitment serving those who promote the rights of people with disabilities and strive for their full social inclusion.
