Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Regional Ecosystems: Almaviva is the Main ICT Partner of the 2023 National Innovation Award

The largest and most widespread business plan competition in Italy returns on Thursday, November 30th, and Friday, December 1st, at Palazzo Lombardia. PNI23 is the 21st edition of this award dedicated to the best and most innovative business projects, stemming from scientific research within universities and research institutes from 17 Italian regions. Since its first edition in 2003, 1,088 innovative startup projects have taken part in the PNI, with an average of over 50 per year. To date, more than 50% of the projects have successfully evolved into innovative companies operating in various markets.

As in past editions, Almaviva is taking on the key role of Main ICT Partner of the event, organized by PNICube, Milan’s Bicocca University, the Polytechnic University of Milan, Bocconi University, and Università Statale di Milano as part of the "MUSA" ecosystem, with the support of the Lombardy region.

The first day of the event will feature the pitches of the finalists in the four categories: Cleantech & Energy, Life Sciences-MEDTech, ICT, and Industrial.

Almaviva will introduces the ICT category, with its Chief of Communication and Institutional Relations Officer, Michele Svidercoschi. Carmine Cisca, Head of Blockchain & AI Design, will be evaluating business projects in the same category.
